GEORGINA FROMSON
Georgina Fromson, owner of The Surrey Health Clinic, is a fully qualified Osteopath, Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist and Medical Acupuncturist. She graduated in 2014 from The British School of Osteopathy in London having undertaken a four year Master’s degree. In Sport and Remedial Massage, she qualified with the highest diploma from the London School of Sports Massage in 2011 and as a Medical Acupuncturist from the London College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014. Georgie graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University in 2010 and having been a National athlete in three sports has a keen interest in athletes. She describes herself as a very hands on practitioner who specialises in deep tissue treatments and draws upon osteopathic and acupuncture techniques that are most suitable for the patient and their diagnosis.
Fully accredited by the UK organisation which regulates licensing under the 1993 Osteopaths Act. In full time practice since 2014.
All osteopaths in the UK are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). To be a member of the GOsC the osteopath must have studied for a minimum of four years and have a degree in osteopathy. Osteopaths are required to renew their registration each year as part of this process, the GOsC checks that osteopaths have current professional indemnity insurance and have met mandatory continuing professional development requirements. The title ‘osteopath’ is protected by law. It is against the law for anyone to call themselves an osteopath unless they are registered with the GOsC, which sets and promotes high standards of competency, conduct and safety.
